Re: Caravan and motorhome problem.
I have used a motor home for 40 years,we pay to use a site, in France they are quite cheap,
but the way of life always attracts those that live on fresh air, I call them nesbits, none payers, peasants, Skint members, they take the piss, they want gassing slowly overnight, they spoil it for people that do it right, If they create a proper site the riff raff wont use it, have a walk past you can tell the ones who sponge through life, call centre types

Re: Caravan and motorhome problem.
So whats the point of buying a motorhome with toilet, shower, fridge, cooker etc if you are going to use a site? The whole point of mine is I can go wild camping, although parking in the street in Los Cris can hardly be described as wild. However they are not really causing a problem there, looks like it was specially designed for the use of to be fair. There are loads more down in Puertito which certainly does look bad, and takes up valuable parking space too. The only difference between you and me Reg is your wallet is one inch thicker than mine. If that makes me a 'Nesbit' then so be it. Also regardless of the cost I would much rather be camped up deep in the woods or on an isolated beach rather than on a campsite with screaming kids and noisy, smelly, BBQ lighting near neighbours!

Re: Caravan and motorhome problem.
Caravan club sites are nothing like that, we have parked off site more than once but not outside houses or apartments, people who have parted with large amounts of money at Parque Tropical and El Rincon dont want nesbits outside dumping porta loos and bags of rubbish over the fence, I had an apartment there for 4 years, always some twat doing it on the cheap when they should be staying home in there council house payed for buy other people, they want gassing, slowly

Re: Caravan and motorhome problem.
I stayed down that end and never saw or heard any noise from the people using them. I never saw rubbish dumped. There is a large peice of waste ground which i did see people using with there dogs but it was not the owners of the homes. Maybe they were the good ones staying there then .
