So who watched this one and a half hour show the other night on channel 9? Thought the BBC was supposed to be un-biased in its programs? Throughout it made the Germans look incompetent and completely surprised, which they werent, all because of our superior strategy, intelligence, and surprising them where they werent expecting it??? What total bolox. The only reason we made it and got a foothold on French soil was overwhelming numbers of troops, many thousands of whom died, from USA and Commonwealth countries. Indeed it took them 6 weeks to take the nearest town, Caan, and only then because the RAF flattened it. History through rose-tinted specs.
