Plagiarism...

I record Irish/country music and play it back while I'm cooking, tonight first song below came up sang by Susan McCann, I googled to try and find out who wrote it and when, but drew a blank, the reason, listen to second song, is it me but when I heard Susan McCann sing my mind went straight to second song listed, now second song was written by Jimmy McCartney, first heard it on this forum, but again I can't find out when it was written, so who copied who...

I actually spent 10 minutes googling Bright Blue Rose but I couldn't find the date it was written so I gave up...

I done the same with both of them, just curious to know which one was written first, came up with nothing deffo on either...
