Re: ee by gum sheds gone...
In 1973/4 there was a petrol shortage and me working in a petrol station saw an opening to earn a few quid so i filled the parents cellar up with cans of petrol thinking back i could have blown the house up in the air but petrol then was 34p a gallon if i remember right,
so i was selling it at 75p, happy days dyslexic yes skint never

Going back to my late teens knew a lad would call him a friend of a friend so only saw him now and again, bump in to him one day, his right hand, what a mess, no fingers, hand just a stump, I say what the feck happend there,,, he says at petrol station filling up had a fag in my hand...
Evenings away from his day job he played mandolin in a folk group, suspect not after that he didn't...

What sort of infrastructure is going to have to be put in place to make that happen, not everyone can just drive up to the side of their house every night and plug their car in, does it mean there will have to be charging points at every parking space be it on the streets outside people's houses, multi-storey car parks, theme parks where people may have discharged their battery getting there so need it charging to get home, hospital car parks, motorway service areas, basically anywhere you need to park...
So is this the future for our streets...
