Event basically took place my doorstep/stomping ground, there was a larger article in the Manchester Evning News about it plus it was talk in pub we do out Thursday quiz in as shop event started in is only a few doors down from pub...

Guy goes in to shop wearing a mask, pulls out a knife and starts cutting through cable ties that are holding a crossbow on display, shop assistant  says to him you can't do that, thief threatens him with knife and asks for bows to go with crossbow (he obviously meant the bolts), assistant says they don't have any, thief disappears out shop door with crossbow, shop assistant follows him while on the phone to police given them directions as to way thief is heading, by now police are also receiving more phone calls from members of the public saying there's a guy in the Northen Quarter (area of Manchester city centre) with a crossbow and a knife,,, BBC article says he was tasered on Tib Street in the centre of the Northen Quarter,,, no he wasn't, video clearly shows he's on Great Ancoats Street a good mile or so from where incident started, he's actually right oposite the City Stay Apartments Dermo was in when he was last over...

Now, I ain't impressed with the cops, nothing to do with them setting the police dog on him and tasering him, they could kick the shit out the fecker as far as I'm concerned, but response time,,, Manchester after the bomb is meant to be on increased alert for these sort of things yet this nutter is able to go through the city centre for over a mile wielding a knife and crossbow,,, something not right there...

Couple I know live Tenerife, wife stays there 100% of the time, husband floats back and forward to uk for work, self employed kitchen fitter, quality stuff, has a few lads who work with him,,, in Tenerife he sees a circular saw kit, thinks that looks good quality and it's a lot cheaper than it would be in the UK so he buys it... Next trip to uk he checks it in with the rest of his luggage, gets to UK he's pulled by UK customs who also have two cops with them, they search his luggage then ask him where's the crossbow telling him they've been informed that he checked in a crossbow at Tenerife,,, confusion.com initially then the penny drops, he shows them the box containing the circular saw, what's the makers name on the box,,, Crossbow...
