Re: New Las Vistas promenade.
Nah the best bit will be outside my place, all the bucket and spade shops have been told to tidy up their acts, and to shift all the crap indoors, all TRG steps and landings are getting renewed,
I am looking forward to all the noise and dust,
I will be able to shake my head all the time while they faff about doing things all the wrong way round,
I mean how old are the new lamp posts ? they will get the chop at least twice, It will be just like the top road, totally the wrong tiles that show the least bit of stain up,
Whatever happens it will be better for the people to walk along and look up at the smug bassa's with apartments over looking the beach, and i will be looking down on the peasants looking up

Re: New Las Vistas promenade.
I recall when I lived out there they were proposing to mark off cycle and pedestrian lanes along the prom from Los Cris to La Caleta never happend, and that was only a few tins of paint...
I also recall when they relayed the streets/pavements of Los Cris, done a good job but went on for years...
I also recall when they decided to do the beach up at San Juan, years of talking, year or two to do it, all washed away first storm...
Watch this space...

Re: New Las Vistas promenade.
I dont know You see the grass it says keep off, but on el Camison beach you can lay on it,
There is an oldish copper on a bike he wears a baseball cap, he comes along and tells them to get off, then he rides around the block and if anybody has gone back on he tears into them and starts waving his fine book around, proper nasty little fecker he is,
I would love to make a film about what go's on around the beach,

Re: New Las Vistas promenade.
I've seen them pruning the big leaves off the Palm/Fig trees, then leaving them lying for a week before collecting them...
