Whats on in Edinburgh This Week

Have been trying to book a cheap wee hotel for our early flight on Thursday morning but all Premier / Ibis etc etc near Edinburgh airport are full and I am no paying the Hilton £270 anyone know why the hotels are all so busy never had this problem before 

We were in town on Saturday for lunch ,after lunch we thought we would go for a drink, first stop The Dome ! no chance full, next Tiles again no chance , into Princes street ,success as we walked into Indigo [the old R.B.] some young girls were just leaving and we got their table, so the answer to your question is "the place is buzzin"

No room at the inn

Just booked a room in Uphall route map says 13mins at quiet times hopefully 5.30 am counts as quiet time

I could have given you the name of a stunning apartment in Leith AJ. The No. 10 bus terminus is basically at the front door and departs every 10 min all day. Superb bus service in Edinburgh, nearly as good as the trams!

I will keep in mind next time we are staying over in edinburgh

Few times when I've been up I've booked in to bed and breakfasts, still overpriced for what you get but cheaper than your £270...

But never ever think about going to Edinbirgh when festivals on, rugby or new year, hotels/B&B's just charge silly money...
