We have those Yew trees planted around our house. Tree of Death they call them cos they are often found around churches and graveyards. In actual fact, because of the dense and evergreen foliage, they make excellent windbreaks. The stonework of churches and headstones, often deteriorated because of weathering, especially near the coast, so these trees were planted to protect the structures. They can also live to be 2000 years old. Very informative forum this.
