I once went for a pint on a Friday and got home on the Sunday. I ended up in Gweedore in Donegal.

Was during the world cup in 1990. I got kidnapped and thrown into the back of a transit by 3 of my pals. Ended up in Packie bonners in donegal. The feckin tv cameras were there and any time they panned around, I had to hide. Few years back was up in Edinburgh for the weekend, me and mate go in to pub, there's one of our schoolmates/mate who we hadn't seen for years cos him and his wife moved to somewhere near Lincoln to do with his job, we say where's wife, he says had an argument this morning so she sent me shop for milk, he thought feck that and went for a pint,,, just a few hundred miles away in Edinburgh...
