Went to Snetterton on Saturday, MG car club racing. Had a parade lap thing so got to do two laps round the circuit in the MGF. Sadly we were supposed to only go 50mph and no overtaking but by hanging back a bit to leave a gap I got to let the horses fly, specially round the corners ha-ha. Lovely smooth surface unlike the rest of Norfolks roads! They do track days there where you can drive round to your hearts content, or until engine goes bang....... Not too expensive really at about £160. See if I can arrange a day with these other club members. If I get 5 to come we get 10% discount and a pit garage.

Re: What are you doing today??
Had another Brazilian start with me yesterday ( still have Marcques, in fact I gave him a raise cos he's that good). New lad is at least 65 years old. You would think he'd feckin' know what he is doing. I had finished painting a bungalow last week and all that was left was the plinth on 2 sides of the house. You would feckin' think that there could be feck all that he could do wrong. Like a feckin' eejit, I never checked the work ( how hard could it be??). The gobshite got splashes on the new wall, on the footpath and it was patchy as feck. Just had the customer on to me complaining. He said the difference between what I did and what the new lad did wasn't on the same planet. FFS, what the feck is wrong with people that they cant have a bit of pride in their work

We've arrived...it's raining! This place is massive! Got our seats for the theatre tonight, Abba Tribute after some nonce on an accoustic guitar. Near the bar and close enough to the stage to see clearly. Getting ready for dinner now.

Re: What are you doing today??
Feckin' ABBA tribute, 4 birds and 3 guys! Portuguese bint sang songs from the musicals before that for a warm up, She wasn't too bad, came on again after ABBA and done more modern stuff with the entertainments manager. Old couple across from us were celebrating 55 years married together, she was in a wheel chair and he was taking pictures of her with the anniversary balloons next to her. It was getting near the end of the night and I thought feck it, i'll ask if they'd like me to take a photo of them both, you wouldn't believe how happy they were at that. Not too bad a night a night, one large Piesport wine and 3 pints of Stowpress cider. Half pissed now writing this...
