    Why do old people always drive so slow? You would think that as they dont have so long left they would hurry up and not waste time.

    Elderly people are statistically more careful than younger drivers.
    The safest drivers are in the age group between 64 and 69 years old.

    That is due to the fact they do not do the same the distances as others and if they have an accident it is at a slower speed.
