I've never been since it was O'Flahertys. Has anyone been to this bar and what were your experiences?
Is there music or cabaret? Do they do meals? Is it open all day? That sort of thing.

I went in there to see a Billy Connoly type, He was telling jokes i got on my phone 6 months before. I got up to leave and he set about me, So i told him about the jokes, And he should do more homework, I also told the bar owner That whatever he was paying him was too much, 2 more couples got up to leave too,
    Hopeless place,

Bitter and Twisted, same old same old. Do they never change that bloody show, and now they are going to be regulars at Vivo. Review of "The Red Lion", Los Cristianos. 588840738 Nothing against drag acts as long as they are good - I love Roxy but Crystal Starr was pretty grim (is he still around??) Off to Vivo's new opening on Saturday night hope the entertainment is the Wildboyz and not B&T

I shall have a quick look in when I'm over and give it the once over. (If I tell the owner I'm the TFoF pub critic, do you think I'll get special treatment?)

time is precious when your on your hols, say you went over for 10 days and you had a bad night, that would be 10% of your hols wasted, so stick to places that have been recomended on the forum and you wont go wrongReview of "The Red Lion", Los Cristianos. 294053457

If I was getting a bad pint or the act was rubbish, I wouldn't be there all night Mark. I'd be out of there sharpish and on to somewhere else no mistake! I don't complain and make scenes, I take my money elsewhere and don't go back! That's where it hurts them. Review of "The Red Lion", Los Cristianos. 2472758156

So take it all back. We took twins to Monkey park and then dropped down to Los Cris. The kids wanted to play in the park opposite red lion, so we bit our lip and had a drink there.
Twins ask for something to eat, so got the menu and we all had a sarnie. The Chicken tikka wraps are fabulous and we had a good laugh with staff.
If anyone is a betting person they have Horse Racing on during the day, also footie.
UPPED their game, so GOOD LUCK.

I THINK it is on the seafront, but I am sure others when they get in from work etc will correct if I am wrong.

Walk from the Carolina towards the Church Square, then turn left by the Reveron Plaza Hotel past Weber, Churchills etc and it is at the bottom of the road on the right.

So so sad to see this bar decline....................... I worked here for over ten years............................................for three sets of owners............... alas now I don't think they have hardly any entertainment on and apparently they only open when they fancy it.

I do hope someone takes this bar under their wing, because its one of the best located down that strip...................
