Never heard that before, thanks Cam.

My dad used to own a sports shop. The Fureys and davey Arthur came in one day looking to hire 4 sets of golf clubs. Me dad didn't know them from adam but thought they looked a bit iffy so he told them he didn't rent out clubs. They went and bought 4 sets of clubs and bags and shoes from him for nearly 3 grand. Paid in cash on the spot.

I've seen them live this year and last year. They don't mind touring the wee towns which is great. Let's us poor folk see them for about £15!

I remember the first time I heard that. I was in the Irish Times in 2002 and Gerry and Derek played it. Brilliant!

No but he must have felt lonesome in the last months. He didn't tell anyone ( including his wife) that he was terminally ill. I'even took him out of the hospital the night before he died for a few pints and he still never said a word even though he had been told earlier in the week that he only had days left. ( Brain tumour)

Its called "Finbar Furey - Free Spirit"...Very good so far.
Anybody interested can get it on RTE player later.

I am being really thick Dermo, think the heat is getting to me. All I can see is several news and weather programmes, iwitness, kitchen hero, operation transform and the Frontline.

Type in "Finbar Furey" in the search box Gypsy. It comes up then. This link leads directly to it

No, its not that I can see the site OK, I was looking for a programme with their name in the title, but it seems it is The Saturday Night Show, I also thought it was on last night ! Can see it now so will go and have a look.

I can't find it either... free spirit my arse...

It was good, I enjoyed it. I particularly liked the interview with Cher's transsexual son. I didnt know that her daughter Chastity, is now Chaz a man. He was excellent at the way he put across the problems he had to face.

Big problem trying to find a second hand pecker, Had a look on Ebay, Nada,

I enjoyed that interview as well as the comedians one.
