Yeah, dangerous innit. Like pensioners driving round racetracks thinking they are Stirling Moss.

When we was over in Turkey there was a thing called "Air Games" on (link below), it was paragliders doing stunts as they came down, it was being held at a beach a 10 minute bus ride from us so went down a few days when it was on, first day we went it was the opening day so we went early and had breakfast at a beach bar next to their landing spots one on the beach and the other a grassy patch on the promenade the grassy patch being the one most chose to land on. While we were sitting having breakfast one came down short of the landing area and hung his parachute in a tree, they were out with ladders climbing up the tree untangling it, took about a hour, while this was going on another one clatters in to all the blackboards advertising the food and drink the bar we were in sold, they were scattered everywhere and his parachute ended up tangled on beach bar roof...
Then for lunch we park ourselves in an open rooftop restaurant overlooking the landing area, the paragliders were coming in over our heads, some so low you could have touched them, some were taking part in the competition some were tandem ones giving tourists the chance to experience it,,, Sharon was well taken with it and wanted to do a tandem jump (oh we were on the wine by this time) I told her she was on her own but go for it... Oh, I happened to mention to our waiter the two cock ups we'd witnessed earlier in the day, he replied every day all the time accident, accident, accident...
So next day we're on bus heading to event, Sharon's still on about doing a tandem jump, there were two English couples sitting behind us on bus, they're discussing the "Air Games" one says "did you see the two ambulance's on the promenade yesterday" another replies, "yes, it was a couple doing a tandem jump, they came down heavy and both broke both their legs",,, I look at Sharon,,, then another one of them pipes up "well they were luckier than that Russian guy that hit the pilon and electrocuted himself",,, I look again at Sharon,,, the tandem jump didn't happen...

On the last night of our holiday we booked this restaurant, it's almost 2000 meters up Babadag Mountain where the paragliders take off from ... We booked for sunset and we're told it would get cold when the sun went down, get cold, no, feck knows what minus degree it dropped to but it was freezing, we was halfway through our meal on the terrace, staff come out with cloaks for everyone, meal quickly finished there was a big wood burning fire in the bar so quick move...
But the views,,, pictures in link below mainly show food but go through them there are some of the views...

I didn't read reviews, only looked at pictures, we was there end of season and Thomas Cook had went tits up, for sunset there were only six of us eating so service couldn't have been better, to be honest th friendliness of staff everywhere was brilliant, just wanted to talk about everything, when quiet the would com and sit and have a drink with you, whole holiday was fantastic and we've been offered apartment (Villa) anytime it's empty...
