    Apologies if I have made a dreadful mistake but I think this may be one of our forum members. However forum etiquette stops me from giving their username

    No she is German. I don´t know whether there is a Mister, never seen or heard of one, but her son helps her run Accion del Sol.

    The locals a small hotel, shows the football, has a great juke box and pool table, every month or so the owner puts on live music at weekend, official closing time is midnight but depending on the mood the landlords in and the mix of regulars / guests there are frequent late nights, most of the regulars are in to pool including the landlord, he runs the pub team, so many late nights, two o’clock norm, three or even four if it’s a big one. Even if the landlords not in the mood there’s a place in town much the same, pool table etc, (bit trendy and more expensive) which is open to four, so we end up there if needs must.

    It’s got nothing to do with drinking; we’re just perfecting our sporting talents!!!

    Turned out the owner of the hotel (the local), who also has a restaurant in town, had organized a Christmas bash for his restaurant staff and had put a disco on in the hotel for them, it had been kept low profile so as it was only his staff and the regulars that were in.

    PS, when I went in tonight the landlord said he had been rough all day, blamed the cleaner for waking him up at ten to take a delivery, I said I got up at six thirty, he said f**king hell what state was I in as I had not left the bar until the back of five, had to explain it was six thirty PM, cannot print his reply !!!
