bit of an echo board Empty bit of an echo board

    Post by 3rdforum Sat 22 Aug 2020 - 21:34

Just mulling over something. My van, VW Transporter, is 12 years old. It just got a new timing belt and starter motor refurb. Passed its MOT 2 weeks ago. Here is the dilemma. I need more room, so I am either going to purchase a box trailer and get the new company wrap on it. I will also need the van to be done. But, the wrap will be about 2000 euros total ( for van and trailer). I reckon the van is only worth maybe a grand more i.e. 3K. Do I change for a much bigger van and get the wrap done on that or do I keep existing van and buy a trailer and get the wrap done on both??

Depending on the combined gross weight of van and trailer you  could be puting yourself in to tachograph rules and have to get a tachograph fitted to van ,, simpler to go for bigger van ..
