We did the "Jeep Safari" a few years back. It went up to the Cañadas National Park and down again into Masca. It was terrific! Nearly crapped myself going down that road to Masca. (I'm convinced that road would never be licensed for public use in Britain).

Some very good boat trips, perhaps peeps can tell us which they have sailed on.

I know there is an ulterior motive i.e. selling you bedding, but I have been on loads of those Miller 'Blanket' Trips. They are really good, the leaflets are found all around the resorts in phone boxes and on walls held down by a lump of rock.
You just have to bear in mind that you are going to have to listen to an hours sales pitch (certainly not hard sell). You get a glass of grotty wine and a few biscuits. You are then off on your chosen trip.
Loads to chose from. Cost is usually around €10 or €11 and you can go to Puerto for the day shopping, and Island tour, Mercedes Mountains etc etc. You get lunch included so as long as you don´t cave in and buy they are really cheap excursions. They start pick up around 9.30 in the morning and you generally get back at around 7.00 in the evening.

If you want to have a night of stupidity that you will remember and have a bad hangover from, take a rip to Medieval night. You drink copious amounts of dreadful vino du gutrot....eat some food in an old fashioned way at big long benches (actually food not bad)and the show begins. You have Knights to cheer whilst they Joust and loads of other bits going on. You later get a concert, which was the Drifters when I went. Sound awful..............Bloody great laugh.

As said if someone said do you fancy sitting in upright bench pews for 3 hours, having yor dinner thrown at you, drinking vinegar, whilst being told what to do, you would want to know how much you were going to be paid. Nope, you pay and worth every penny, we are going in October and guarantee a day by the pool next day because you are knackered.
