Agricultural workers then. Same thing. Bosses provide housing, and I use the term loosely, and transport for which the workers have to pay. They end up with nothing and will barely have enough to feed themselves. Same thing goes on round here where agriculture is the main economic activity. Controlled by what we call Gangmasters. The Eastern European gangmasters are particularly fond of the liberal use of violence to control their workers. Same thing happens in Pakistani communities using immigrants in the rag trade sweat shops. Everyone looks the other way. Oops, nearly forgot, sex workers weaned onto drugs so no escape. Slaves? Yes.

Paranoia innit. Caused by smoking canabis usually. However I'm not a partaker of that particular habit. Also had no booze since Sunday until about 20 minutes ago.
