Local bar for all who stay on TRG.
Very friendly bar always people in, well mostly sat outside enjoying the sun and a chat during the day.
Friendly staff Seamus, Shane, Les & Peter are great lads always up for a laugh especially Shane & Peter always up to something when Seamus is on the bar.
And of course the excellent Adrian Brookes is the resident singer, a really good singer and entertainer you often feel for him on an evening when having a warmer (drinks on way out) or a night cap and it's rather empty but doesn't stop him cracking lad does a great job.
Actually had an overnight make over when we were there, noticed late on evening Shane strangely running his hands over the walls behind the bar, next day the entire bar had been painted they had been in until 3am painting after sanding (hence the wall rubbing) and prep the night before.
Happy hour stopped at 5pm this December (was later possibly 9pm last December) and if Les was on the bar he would always come out and remind people that it was getting close to 5pm if they wanted another before the happy hour ended.
Never have tried the food but often people eating so must be decent.
As I say great bar, great staff and great criac in a great location, doesn't try to be something it's not can't really ask for anymore.
