Twice watched football in there, the Wednesday night (Fulham 0 United 5) was a cracking night packed with people watching 3 different games on 3 different TV's but neither inferred with the one you were watching due to the placement of the TV's 2 within opposite end of bar & one the terrace.
Great friendly attentive service, food being served all the time as well as people ate while watching.
Smells were fantastic and we were drawn in and ordered the Chilli nachos after smelling & spying them on the table next to use, have to say they were superb.
The food menu listed 'Betty's Hot Pot' on the boards outside but had RIP next to it now as they took it off the menu when she passed away recently.
After the football finished people left and they set up for the nights act which was due on at 10pm, turned out it was Michael Graham so we moved inside and had a great hours entertainment & criac with him and the others inside the bar pity it was only an hours worth of him but was great.
Upon asking for the bill we were staggered that a nights drinking (I had at least 8 pints & not sure how many my wife had) and the food the bill only came to 15 euros !!!.
Great bar with a clear loyal clientele and we could see why, the lads at the Rovers do a great job hats off to them.
