Is there anyone on here who actually likes Facebook. I haven´t a clue what goes on there but just received a notification that 7 of my FRIENDS have birthdays this week. Never heard of any of them, so just been in and deleted them. Not sure how they get to become friends because nobody ever asks me and I don´t ask anyone to be my friend unless I know them personally - rather be Billy no mates.

Re: Facebook fans
I joined recently so Betty could send me some stuff and we could use the "chat", but apart from that I don't have a clue. I also joined "Skype"again and it did things to my lappy AGAIN! That's it for me with that site, it was deleted and will NEVER be re-installed!

Really can't see the point of FB.
What's wrong with good old fashioned face to face networking or picking up the phone even.
Seems to me that most FB users must have some sort of personality disorder.
Sad, so sad.

I agree Jimbo and Reg. Its seems to be mainly the younger generation and women that use it. Like to keep my closet door closed haha.

Hiya Cam,
Great day today mate. Long walk this morning. A couple of pints before lunch and then had the leaf blower out this afternoon - brilliant !
No leaves / litter on my property - the muppet next door now has mountains of them though.

Re: Facebook fans
Ok I'm going to tell you this for the umpteenth time now........
You get out of Facebook whatever you want to get out of Facebook, it's up to you if you play games, befriend people you have never met etc, etc.
I on the other hand do not play games or invite people that I do not know. Since leaving Zimbabwe, my friends, ex collegues and school mates have been spread all over the world. America, Israel, Zambia, Singapore, SA, Mocambique, Tanzania, England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Botswana, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada and the list goes on. Now you tell me how I would have kept up with that lot if it was'nt for Facebook? I actually had a mini school reunion with 4 school friends a couple of years ago. We met up after34 years and it was amazing.
Don't knock it because some people use it irresponsibly, or you have no idea what you are doing
