Got two welsh people in apartment for ten weeks, They seem ok too, ??

Gavin & Stacey then is it? Expect some breakages then, and visitors sleeping on the sofa with sun lotion all over....And other stains........ And shower curtain ripped down. You like to take a chance Reg you do.

3rd year Vince, Pensioners, No shower curtain to pull down, Rang me friday to book next year, Micheal and Marion,
Ross on wye, So not skint coal miners, , Dont sunbathe so no lotion on sofa, I told them to try not to sit down,

We have lots of mentions from both the the Scottish and the Irish contingency on the forum but to the best of my knowledge this is the first mention of anyone from Wales. So thought they deserved a thread of their own :Happy:

I like the way Welsh people talk, lovely accent, very slow. My mate Phil in Sundowners is from S Wales, the welsh accent comes through when hes singing on the karaoke. Bootiful, as we say in Norfolk.

I remember a bloke I met in Gran Canaria from S. Wales. He was there with his 2 kids. I assumed he was divorced. He told me after a week that his missus had died 6 weeks previous. She was diagnosed with cancer ( caught early on) and had received her first dose of radium treatment. It turns out she was given an unsterilised needle for her drip, and she died 4 days later from blood poisoning. wtf????

Oh dear, how sad. Sounds like a lawyer job for me. Always insist on a new needle guys, you know it makes sense........

Yep very sad, makes me wary of bumping in to you though, perhaps planned meeting is OK.

It is always said Scotish people are careful with their money but I've never found that, in fact usually the opposite but I have known some mean Welsh bar stewards
