I cant see any harm in having information on peoples prior history in a court case, Surley that could influence your verdict, Especially where rapes are concerned, Typical English justice,

6 months for contempt of court, seems like the judge was on a power trip and was pissed off s'one didn't do as he said. There are other feckers that don't get that length for GBH!

I would have thought a suspended sentence would have sufficed. The person would still have had a criminal record.
