We are just a smidge under 30% while La Palma are around 32% making unemployment in the Canary Islands something like 30% with only Andalusia being higher.

Private Equity companies and Greed on shares has fecked us all. If a company does not make more profit than the previous year it is in trouble. Good old family business tucked some away for when business not so god.
Private E, they just drain companies move them to where ever the biggest tax breaks are, this makes them worth loads on paper. Nice fat hand outs to the partners. Lots of stuff hidden from auditors, false orders produced, staff sacked, contracts changed, then CLOSED. Debts paid by the public through various ways, more people on the dole and the fat Equity owners have even more dosh in their pockets to bugger the next one. This is Corporate fraud and needs to stop before anyone has a chance, will it, NAH, too many politicians on the boards.
