Well back from her walk and Miss Mouse showed all the signs of having another fit! Pete stayed out on the terrace with her and in time she did just that (although not as bad as the last time)

Rufus in the litter tray having a poo! got it stuck all over his long fur, tried to clean most of it off but WHAT A MESS!

Micky gone back outside to where it's a bit more normal...

Rufus staying on the terrace until he has cleaned himself

Miss Mouse made a remarkable recovery now her dad is dishing up FOOD!

Wonder how many of our members have pets.

I wouldnt be without mine - yes there are times like you say but they give us so much love in return.

So who has a dog, cat, gerbil, etc and would you have another when it goes to the great blue yonder.?

When my cat died I didn't replace it. My daughters had a hamster when they were school age but that died yonks ago. So no, nothing to stop me from locking the door and buggering off somewhere for a few days hols when I feel like it.

We had them all over the years but nothing now we have enough trouble looking after my daughters cats when they are away one which is diabetic like Reg and has to have jabs twice a day. Thank goodness its insured otherwise it would cost a fortune in vet fees always being told some test they need to do.

They put some right old crap in processed animal foods. I have got to take Alfred to see a dermatologist as he has a skin allergy.
We have to feed him special foods now just to stop him tearing his paws to pieces. Dermatologist probably going to cost 600 quid, don't do pet insurance and have probably saved a fortune not doing it up until now. Not saying I disagree with it and believe we should only have pets if we can cover there bills, if this means paying weekly for insurance, then so be it.

We have never done pet insurance either so while we may have had some hefty bills overall I think we are ahead of the game.

I had a Bassett hound who had skin problems, I used to get lites from the butcher and boil them (smell awful) but he loved them I also used to pick stinging nettles and boil those too. Fed him on the above for about 2 weeks and his skin was clear from around 6 months, then we would have to start again. Worth a try, just take a plastic bag out when you are walking and some gloves so you don´t end up suffering The joy of having pets... 1498946960

I think he had an Eastern European first mate, if you follow my drift, that was his downfall. Now probably got no wife, girlfriend or boat/job. Just a man then........ 🤣
