Hole In The Wall
Does anyone know of "The Hole In The Wall" pub in PDLA? If so, could they please give me the address of it so I can have a look at it on Google Maps?
Thanks

Being as its called hole in the wall its probably a bit on the tiny side D. Take the family in and it will look busy. Just up the road from me we have a Hole in the Wall farm, strange, no walls to be seen, just open fields.

Doubt you will see it on Google because it is in a pedestrianised section of Las Americas, in what is called the Strip and although that orange guy struts around I dont think he would have been able to take his car and camera. It is here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] about halfway along.

Re: Hole In The Wall
This may come in useful D. I made it up so newcomers could find local places to eat and drink. You're looking for Parque de la Paz. (It's on the list on the left side).

Or Cheap but Ok. The Chinese next to it used to be really good but Suzie has gone to the mainland with severe back problems(lovely lady) and it has gone down hill.

Re: Hole In The Wall
It is a very popular strip of entertainment bars, my only criticism is that if you are outside and your probably will be because most of them are pretty dire inside you can always hear the music from next door so it tends to be out of sync surround sound !!!

It is not a viable proposition for the Government or Drug companies to find cures for these.

Re: Hole In The Wall
The bar on the very end next to Lazy Daze is the worst, they put a speaker outside and have it up full blast, ruining everyone else's entertainment.

Re: Hole In The Wall
Is that tiny Scottish bar still on the strip? Think of a cupboard inside a very small kitchen...well that bar would be the biscuit tin inside the cupboard! . A bit like Howard's bars on the Funchal strip. Tiny little places, not my cup of tea. Irish Times is nice and big, get a good seat and you can see everything going on.

Turns out I'm related ( albeit distantly) to the part owner there. He's also the guy who does the music apparently ( never met him). He's a first cousin of my brother's wife ( widow).
Thanks everybody for the help

Dee called me "Budweiser" all night when I was last in there. (That's what I was drinking at the time). Me and Mermaid and my brother and his wife were having a great time, Dee was the act, and everyone else was sitting there with faces like fizz! I thought, fer feck's sake you're on holiday, ya miserable gits, cheer up! Anyhoo, Dee's an old hand and knew which way the wind was blowing so she interacted with us. It was a great night!
