Re: Public Pools
Well the only one that I know about is the 50 m public pool at the back of Hyper Trebol in Los Christianos. There is another smaller pool which they use for aqua aerobics, therapy and lessons etc. The pool is heated during the winter months and there are lanes for people to swim in of different abilities eg slow, medium and fast.
The hours vary between the summer and winter and a swim is €1.50 for an hour (although they are not strict and allow you another half an hour to dress, shower etc)
You can get a bono card which reduces the cost. The most you can put onto it is €30 which will give you 30 swims. There is no time limit on it. The aqua aerobics classes are obviously seperate from this cost.
There are lockers which you insert €1 into and get back at the end, hot showers and power point for your hairdryer.
Any other questions please get in touch. I shall post a photo and link once I am old enough

Re: Public Pools
A couple I know about are of course the Lago Martianez, Puerto de La Cruz. It consists of several sea-water pools and a large, central lake, with sunbathing areas and a selection of bars Costs approx €3.50
El Galeón, Adeje, connected to the Torres Sports Complex, just off the motorway and close to the Adeje Mercadona.
The lovely César Manrique Maritime Park in Santa Cruz. I know they were working on it for a long time not sure if it is finished.
Punta del Hidalgo on the north coast where the sea can be very rough, there is a selection of natural sea-water pools totally closed off from the ocean.

As you have a great knowledge of the LC pool I thought I recognized you as the one with the flowers on you hat, head out of the water during the breast stroke in the fast lane.
Am I correct
