I was waiting to pull out as there was a lorry by the large gap, turning. I waited till road was clear and pulled across but the lorry was covering a bollard they had put in the middle. Straight over it and it sprang up behind me..

What daft thing have you done?
I ran over a bollard today. The garage I use is on a main road and I turn right out of it. The middle of the road is a large gap.

Did you get across or did it hit the underside of the car?

Re: What daft thing have you done?
Dave is this the bollard thing you are on about ?
In the second video do you think the red car is stolen ??? (It is Manchester!)
And in the third, why does everyone feel the need to stick their finger in the oil ???

Six ended up in hospital when this bus hit it.

What Daft Thing Have You Done?
Well a bit of a “Topdog” we’ll call it...
Was called in to work one Saturday morning due to a paperwork feckup, was not happy as I had plans for the day, got in to work and fixed out paperwork, headed off home via company involved to deliver amended paperwork, drove in to said companies premises, did not park in their car park but drove straight up to their reception door at great speed, jumped out of car, leaving car running I ran in to their reception deposited paperwork with the receptionist and ran straight back in to car, selected first gear and drove off like a bat out of hell so to speak.
“Bang”, I had only travelled a few feet, in my haste I had not notices I had drawn up directly in front of a kerb height flower bed, I drove straight over the top of it, holed fuel tank, Arrrrggghhh......

Re: What daft thing have you done?
Before I joined the Army at 16, I took a job with the co-op delivering milk. We used to have them little trolley barrows that the crates went into and I had 4 crates on mine one on top of the other when I hit a small stone, only about an inch diameter and the whole feckin' trolley did a somersault and I ended up with 8 dozen broken milk bottles scattered all over the road. Milk was all over the place, running down gutters and in drains. I was more embarrassed than anything.

Re: What daft thing have you done?
I crawled round the corner to cry, Hoping the girls would go away, No they didnt, So then i had to wheel my trashed bike past them, Looking like nothing had happened, Which didnt really cut no ice, Forehead and nose was grazed, Nads was throbbin, Ice blue jeans ruined, Bit of a bad day on the street cred front, Just glad it wasnt Janet, Thats the bike i sold her on easy terms when i repaired it, I repoed it later when she defaulted with the payments, Which she keeps mentioning to this day,
