Guardia Civil Officers are now looking for a driver who on Monday morning caused a traffic accident in which a man was unfortunately killed on the TF-653, between Guargacho and Palm Mar, Arona. The incident occurred after improper overtaking. Two cars were involved, one, a Citroen Saxo, in which the deceased, thought to be of Belgian nationality, resident of Costa Silencio, was travelling. The other car, a Hyundai Coupe, was driven by a woman, who could not avoid the collision, caused, by another driver who fled the scene. The driver of the Citroen Saxo had to be cut from his vehicle, and died later in hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
