Thanks all for birthday wishes, have never done birthdays big, think it’s a throw back to when I was a kid, birthdays carried a health warning, “If you want anything big for your birthday don’t expect anything big from Santa”.
Never have worked out how he knew when my birthday was ?
Just about to head off to local, will drop a few hints tonight, may get a free beer or two tomorrow...

Sorry folks, I thought I had posted below about 0730 last night (Thurs 01/03/12):
Thanks again all, well last night!
Twelve o’clock (Clarification 29/02/12 in to 01/03/12) comes, pub landlord Dublin Dave announces it’s "his" birthday, up to this point I had not mentioned mine, well, those of you in the know may have noted there was no log on from me as per norm on my return from pub !
I had basically just recovered when I thought I had posted the above earlier, was rushing to make pub quiz, could not have been in full command of senses ! (I could blame the computer, but I’m honest).
We had previously won quiz last six weeks in a row, not tonight, ended up third, I will admit I was not much help, my main contribution, we used my pen...
Turned out to a bit of a quite night in the local, two o’clock finish, we were all recovering...
Don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing but landlords organised a bit of an “official bash” for his birthday tomorrow night (Friday), well it seems like tomorrow for me, International Date Line etc !!!
