    Tesco's Empty Tesco's

    Post by Jimandsi Mon 5 Mar 2012 - 10:12

Do they think we're thick or something ?

I went to our local Tesco's yesterday and what a disaster !

Empty shelves, cardboard boxes everywhere and 14 out of 20 tills closed with loads of people queueing at the remaining six.

Today, they've a announced that they are going to recruit a further 20,000 staff to "improve customer service".

    What a load of bollocks ! Tesco's 1498946960

They have 2,800 stores open 24 hours a day for six days a week.

That means that my local store will increase it's headcount by 7 staff or, 1 per shift - what the hell will that 1 person do to improve customer service, I wonder ?

Come on Tesco - get your fu*king act together.

we have a big 24h one. After midnight they only have one till open I think. So much for doing a big shop when you think you will not have to face crowds. Everyone has the same idea lol

llidl or Aldi its the future, can't get what you want and they bung it all back in the trolley but no queues.

Well they seem to have stepped up a gear here in North East, they have added an extra shelf on the top of the shelves they had and they are packed with "stock".
Clearly carrying more stock of items on the shop floor as opposed to in the warehouse.

Mind makes the isles feel more claustrophobic though AND us tall people get asked even more than usual "excuse me you couldn't reach me one of those".
I know I'm tall and don't mind but I'm not that tall !.

I should ask 'small' people to pass me up one of those !
