Prayer meeting

One of the christians is having a meeting tonight, All these strangely quiet people turn up, Even their cars creep about, They decend about 7pm and their just leaving now - Quietly again, The two other christian household creep quietly over, I asked Janet what she thought they got up to, She said they will read prayers, Like what i said, Janet says they take it in turns to read from the bible , Dont they know by now what it says ?, i said i wonder if some people gather to read from the beano, Janet shakes her head a lot at me, She recons they take great comfort from it, i said they wana get down to DFS while theres still a sale on, Get a comfortable sofa or chairs, If that lot are right in the head, I dont want to be, Strange feckers,

Why do they need to read to each other, can't they read quietly, or perhaps it is similar code that they use in Fife for reading.
