Evenin all. Did I miss much? Only on for a few minutes. Am shattered. Mum was in hospital, got out today. She now weighs 5 stone 12 pound. She has to put on a stone in next 12 weeks. Eileen's mum brought into hospital on Monday afternoon. Has severe cellulitis and infection that doesn't seem to be responding to treatment.
I had my dad staying with me for since Sunday. My cousins death has hit him hard. He has got some kind of dimensia but is normally lucid enough. Last 3 days been a nightmare. Had to break the bad news to him again on Mon and Tuesday ( no recollection, didn't know how he got to my house) Feckin soul destroying watching someone rot away in front of your eyes. Stress seems to put him into a tailspin but so far he has always come out of it ( touch wood)
My cousin was 34. He was coming home from a game of squash when his moped skidded on wet tarmac. He hit the kerb and was thrown from bike. He suffered severe chest injuries ( they think he impacted a dustbin with his chest) and was declared dead on the scene. His head was fine cos he was wearing a helmet. Just bad luck I guess.

My old man was the same Dermo. He kept asking where mum was, (she'd been dead a year) and it was soul destroying having to tell him again. In the end we just stopped telling him and said she was staying at her sisters for a wee while. Easier all round and he was happy. (Died last year). So keep your chin up pal, things can only get better when you're at the bottom.

Many thanks to you all for your kind thoughts. ( not only on this thread ). I'm not actually feeling down or anything, so don't be feeling sorry for me, I just have a lot going on at the moment. Even the tiredness is easing! Getting flabby though, only 2 training sessions in 4 weeks. will have to knuckle down over the next few weeks. Thanks again, Dermo Evening all 4248600970

Derm, if you can't do training do things as you walk around. Walk faster, wear a back pack, large tin in one hand doing some arm exercises, that sort of thing. I don't but should. I need to shed a stone in 4 weeks without losing any bulk.
