Whats with all these solar panels on roofs, I feel like i'm missing out, South facing at the back too, My last Hymer Motor home had two on the roof, I kept smelling burning, Then the curtains went up, Good job i was init at the time, Faulty regulator,

Government was giving grants to get them installed, plus any extra unused electricity generated would be sold back to the National grid. They've stopped the grants now, though I believe a lot of the firms supplying the panels are taking the government to court for changing the discounts earlier than agreed.

I sell those solar panels. Absolutely brilliant. I'll gaurantee you'll have your money back in 18 years and you'll probably have to replace them in 20.
