I just wonder how a guest on this forum that I cannot see listed in the membes list can send PMs to members - any ideas TD /LR and of course Steve

I have received the same message. I know elsewhere were receiving spam visitor messages recently. I Have altered my setting in profile to not accept any visitor messages from now on. Hope someone can tell us how this has happened.

I got it and have no idea, perhaps LR knows how and perhaps how to stop it, if not we need to contact forummotion and ask.

I have found a way of stopping it have sent TD a pm

I really liked Crus post but my screen didn´t I have now had to wipe it down after it was covered with scone and coffee

I'm going to leave the "Contact"button live for a bit and see if we get anymore. I think it's more important that guests or members can contact us if they are having problems than an occasional "spam" message slipping through. If we start to get flooded by them, I'll turn it off...

It's only Admin who will have received this message anyway, so no great harm done.

OK, OR WE CAN SET UP A CONTACT EMAIL IN A LOCKED THREAD.
