Just done todays and failed miserably only 7 I knew where Doug Gilmore came from as I used to follow the Leafs, but didnt know any of the other NHL players. Didnt understand the fishy one!!
I haven't got the time or the inclination...sorry folks. Dermo, we all get different quizzes. Highlander changed it a couple of years ago when certain related IP addresses seemed to be getting 10 all the time.

Re: What time does this forum open??
if you don't all get the same quiz then what's the point you can't compare scores or times properly
if it's just for fun then the scoreboard is a bit silly
but then what do i know i don't do it

What goes around comes around. You get the quiz someone else did a few days/weeks previously later on. Sort of rotation thing, everybody uses the same quizzes just on different days.

Re: What time does this forum open??
It would be better if we were all doing the same on the same day, otherwise some could get a load of easy ones, and others a load of hard ones which will put them off continuing to play cos they look right thickos

Re: What time does this forum open??
As the quiz will be over before most are awake these are the questions I got this time round - some of the questions IMO are long rather than hard so take me an age to read.
1. Potiphar was the man who bought Joseph to be a slave. Joseph, with the help of God, grew to be a respected figure in Potiphar's household - so repected, in fact, that only one thing was off-limits to him and landed him in jail. What was that thing?
Your Answer: Potiphar's wife
2. With which of the following stars was JFK most famously linked?
Your Answer: Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn most likely had affairs with both John F. and Robert Kennedy whom she described as her 'little love'.
3. Angelina Jolie from the movies GIA and Mojave Moon has an acting dad from the movie 'Deliverance'. Who is her dad?
Your Answer: Jon Voight
4. This mid 60s item was invented by Craven Walker. It was very popular with the 'Hippies'. What is this fad?
Your Answer: Lava Lamp
5. An oracle declared that this man would kill his father and marry his mother. Who was he?
Your Answer: Oedipus
6. On your average Monday morning, a London child is most likely to be ...
Your Answer: At school
7. This type of fruit tree features in a well-known Christmas carol, along with a bird.
Your Answer: Pear
8. Pigs are found on all continents except
Your Answer: Antarctica
9. What story about a troubled teenage girl who takes revenge on her tormenters, was the first King book to be made into a movie?
Your Answer: Carrie
10. Which city was founded by Tsar Peter the Great?
Your Answer: St. Petersburg

IMHO (Sorry wrong forum). In my humble opinion, my understanding is, if you do quiz over the whole month everyone eventually answers all the same questions. What I find strange is on days when I find it difficult and have a poor score (not that often), the majority seem to follow suit, is it me???
But I agree with MM it would be good to know on a daily basis which questions trip us up if we were all answering the same ones, my failings are, history, geography, math’s, physics, biology, literature, sport, entertainment, science, astrology, general knowledge, food & drink (especially drink), music, inventors, art, religion, etc. I’m ok on philosophy, well at least I think I am.....

I've changed it so everyone gets the same questions ( from tomorrow onwards). If it is a case that one person keeps winning, I'll switch it back.
