Does it bother anyone else that they always seem to show horrible adverts at tea time, all this week that advert for bowel cancer has been shown at tea time, mine is loose, mine has blood in it, and so on, Dont get me wrong i think its great to be aware of these things but do they have to show it just as im eating my tea...

Maximum Effect I think they call it. Wide audience and gets noticed more, but yeah, not great timing for those wearing a at the time.
We use a lot of pics on here, that is Cam's family tartan nosebag.

Now your seeing the bigger picture!
Or simply don't eat in front of the TV, or put the radio on it's better than TV.

They should put that advert on during the kids programs, get them aware at an early age.

Has anyone else done the bowel cancer test yet ?
With the postcard thingy and three smears of poo.
I'd hate to be the postman delivering mine to the laboratory. :Not me Guv:
Thankfully - I got the all clear.

Re: Bad timing of adverts
I try not to eat in front of the TV because it wasn´t the ads that was putting me off but some of the news items. I think that is a great ad and should ideally be shown when you get people watching Corrie, etc which I think is maybe the age group that should be made aware of it and probably the most likely to try and ignore it because of shyness.

Re: Bad timing of adverts
They should be made to show it in fast food and curry places as all the fat and crap that goes in to them don't help.
