Fuel panic buyer - GET A GRIP !!!

Don't panic don't panic as Jonesy used to tell us.

Youngest lives on a new estate that is accessed by the same road that takes you to the massive Asda in Blyth, they tried to do there shopping last night but the roads were gridlocked leaving there estate all due to cars queuing at the Asda petrol station.
They drove back walked it to Asda (5/10 mins) and did there shopping then took there lead from others off the estate and pushed trolley home then returned it afterwards.
They heard while in Asda it had run out of diesel yet people were still queuing.



The Government telling people to top up when half empty & fill up Jerry's can !!!

They need to submit 7 days notice of strike action so it won't be over Easter, they haven't even held meeting yet.

There's nowt like us English to over react

I'm getting a bit fed up now with this shambles running the country, The place is a mess, so they put the price of petrol up , Not only that but the vat at 20% go's up too, Read yesterday that Vat is going on crime reports the police do for insurance companys, What will they do, Put it on insurance premiums, Just taking the piss now, I read one third of all taxes go's on welfare, Yes come on in we have tons of free money, Pensioners get less and the beggars get more, Who will you vote for next time ?, none of the above,

And I get pissed off with all these commie strikers trying to hold the country (and Joe Public) to some sort of ransom.

The car workers tried it (that twat Red Robbo) and look what happened to our car industry.

The miners tried it (that wanker Scargill) and the mines are all shut.

Now these commies are threatening to try it. Will it be over Easter ? Maybe one of the Spring bank holidays ? Or the Jubilee weekend ? Or better still, during the Olympics ?

If they don't like their job or the conditions, then why don't they resign and let someone else do it.

Better still, sack the f*cking lot of them !

When last fuel strike was announced I was working in England, reports on radio at work through the day were reporting panic buying at supermarkets and petrol stations. On way home at approx eight in the evening I thought better go to supermarket and get some food in, well, there was no queue at the petrol station, they had run out, got in to the supermarket, shelf’s decimated, no bread, tined foods such as soups, beans, quick meals etc, empty, frozen food section the same, got to the beer and wine section, shelf’s stacked as normal..............

Weird feckers these English...

Stuffed the trolley full of beer and wine, salvaged what I could from the food section and headed home.

If I was going to be stuck at home due to the strike I was at least going to be happy, possibly hungry, but at least happy.

I think the Olympics is going to be a ticking bomb in some respects - It will be used by some as serious leverage ,I don't think we have heard the last from London transport workers and their pay rises etc.

...........it would be ok if they were striking in protest of the bloody fuel prices etc., - I agree whole heartdly.

but its because of there working hours n shit!

this is the mob that are on £45.000 plus a flaming year!

Being reported that now the 'Government' have told everybody to 'top up when half full' fuel sales are up 80% on this time last week hang on a minute....

who's making money from all those extra sales .....

Get the panic buying over now while the tanker drivers are still at work, everyone, and I mean everyone, drivers, petrol stations, transport companies, industry in general will ensure their fuel tanks are full and will keep them topped up, then if strike is called, bit longer before it bites...

Headlines............Economy doing fab, revenue up by 30%, yeah because twice as much fuel sold and the massive tax benefits to the government at end of finance year and month. Clever.

i agree td it's all a conspiracy for end of finance year
local garage ran out of fuel but people still queuing and blocking bus routes and all sorts
and strike not even likely to happen anytime soon

the garage near us is not too bad if you leave it till late in the evening.

Anybody read what some pillock fro HM Government said today. It was a good plan as telling people to stay topped up would help when a strike took place as the petrol tanks in peoples cars could hold 3 times as much, total fuel as the garages.
