    If you have then do watch this. I received it from a friend this morning. I have checked mine and they are for the moment safe but even if it is only applicable at the moment in USA it will be coming to a place close to you very shortly. IMO this is frightening especially the bit at the end where they used it in a cafeteria.

    I will be writing to my bank to see if they are going to be using it and if so what protection they intend implementing to stop this happening.

    I have checked Snopes and it is there but does not say it is false but neither does it say true

    this is already used in the uk
    my company currently have these devices in vending machines at visa hq
    there is a limit on the card of something like £10 per day before all 'contactless' transactions are stopped
    'contactless' payments are the future according to my commercial team
    however if someone can clone your card, my guess is they can spend what they like online if it also gives the security code on the back
