Can somebody explain what easter is about, And easter eggs ? chocolate ones, I mean they wasnt about 2000 years ago, I remember it has something to do with Jesus coming back from the dead, not too easy that one, Plus can it really really happen ?, If so how come it hasnt happened since ?

It's a pagan ritual Reg. The egg symbol is all about rebirth and it coincides with spring. Christianity nicked it and replaced it with their Passion/Crucifixion/Resurrection doodah. Most major Christian festivals were slapped on top of older pagan festivals...made it easier for the plebs (us) to accept Christianity.

Ive just asked my grandsons what easter is all about, and their reply was chocolate eggs!!! they know nothing of the religious side to it, I bet 99 out of 100 kids dont know either.. Anyway happy easter egg everyone

We don't have any eggs! (No, I still have ONE hen's egg in the fridge ). Decided this year since all the kids are grown up we ain't buying any!
