Unfortunately Pakistan is one of the most corrupt countries in the world CC. John O'Shea ( from the charity GOAL, was saying that he wouldn't go near there because at every stage, someone has to be paid off to allow aid through. It normally ends up in the hands of the Taliban who use it to reinforce the ideal that they are the "Robin Hood"in Pakistan ( and other countries), giving it ( or rather selling it relatively cheaply) to the poor and so gain popular support. What should happen is that the Pakistan military stand up to the Taliban, oversee and escort if necessary, the transportation of aid. Target the areas where it is most needed. Then , after a couple of years, go in and blow the shit out of the Taliban. However, as I've said before, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom.fighter.
