That is absolutely heart-breaking. It makes me feel better though knowing there are still people around like this man, prepared to sacrifice himself for the ones he loves. Even though she will be grief-stricken I think his wife should feel very proud of her husband.

Same thing happened to Ian Clayton, Local celeb from castleford or somewhere like that, Canoe with his 5 year old daughter, Hired it and was given no instructions, I felt for him, He came on Yorkshire TV to talk about it, I thought he was brave, I went on a 7 day canoeing trip with the school in the same place, Ross on Wye,
