    For the first time in its history the Canaries is having fresh fruit and vegetables delivered from the Peninsula early every Monday morning.

    The speed of delivery has reduced costs and the quality inspection is carried out on departure at Huelva and immediately on arrival in Las Palmas, further reducing the risk of spoilage.

    I've never found anything wrong with the fruit/veg in Tenerife. Incidently, what is grown in those fincas that look like huge greenhouses? I mean surely there isn't any need for greenhouses in Tenerife so what are they for? Fresh produce arriving regularly in the Canary Islands direct from the mainland 1629994992
