I agree with Dermo. As soon as US or UK forces set foot on Syrian soil, their liberation forces/freedom fighters/terrorists would increase massively. Old Bashar would love that to happen. Let's keep out of this train wreck...

Sandhurst trains officers from countries worldwide. These officers were trained pre 2010 before any of this crap started.

The crap I'm talking about is the contagion of the "Arab Spring" CC. I know other stuff has been going on for years. I don't see anyone rushing in to Saudi Arabia either.

I meant that if Western forces were to invade, Al Queda's is ready and waiting to step in as a pan-arabian defence force. They would imo, have a huge increase in recruits trying to repel the common enemy.

Its interesting to watch how the Turks are slowly moving positions on this. Syrian forces have twice crossed the border to attack refugee camps. It will be interesting to see what they will do if it continues.

Would it be morally right for a democratic country to train terrorists,didn't they invade Afghanistan overthat?...whats the difference between the Syrian regime and Al Qaeda?...they are a Government?
