A WALK THROUGH FROM LOS CRISTIANOS TO COSTA ADEJE
Ok these photos were taken over three separate days.
This first area is the very beginning of Los Cristianos and this was a place I couldn't wait to visit as the first time we visited Tenerife we stayed in this area and it was our honeymoon back in 1993. The big rock/ hill in the background is what me and a friend climbed, I didn't get to do it this year.
The Paloma Beach Apartments is where we stayed in 1993 and I was pleased to see it was still in top notch. I went around the pool area and popped in the bar, I recognised the bar owner and spoke to him letting him know about the time I visited and spent many an afternoon chatting in there having a break from the sun.
The Penny farthing bar under the Paloma Beach Apartments, I remembered this bar and was hoping that the owner Bobby was still around, unfortunately he still owns the bar but hardly visits it as he is now retired and rents it out, this guy was a great singer and was from my neck of the woods here in the North east of England, he used to sing in the bars and clubs in my home town of South Shields.

The beach areas in between Los Cristianos and Playa De Las Americas have improved in a big way, its a great walk along them, lots of bars and the lovely smells from the restaurants just makes you want to eat all day long lol.
The town of Los Cristianos has grown so much bigger since the last time we were there, its full of restaurants and shops and a great place for a walk around out of the sun.
At this point you are in Playa De Las Americas, I didn't spend much time in this town the first time we visited but this time we stayed here and loved it, the buildings are really smart and there is lots of up market shopping areas.
On this day the weather was a bit over-cast as you can see, but still very hot and was ideal for the long walk all the way to Costa Adeje
Not a bad deal, a full English Breakfast and a pint of lager yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Well now, this is where it became even more of an adventure as Ive never been this far up the coast before, the coast road just went on and on and is amazing for walkers and joggers, the views were amazing I was loving this walk. I think this was the Fanabe area.
This was a lovely little hotel on the cliff edge
Well I think we know what this place is called.
I got over the headland and the bars and restaurants started again, all along this coast you were spoilt for choice.
Well I started approaching the area known as Costa Adeje and you could see that the hotels were really upmarket. We went into one of these hotels and it was really posh inside, I wish I could remember the name of it, maybe it will come back to me lol , anyway its the one straight in front on the left of this picture.
I remembered Graham mentioning these rocks on top of one another and there they were in front of me, wow amazing.
Well I had to make my mark lol
Well I had to get the bus back from Costa Adeje it was a long way back, getting off the bus I found myself back in the main area of Playa De Las Americas
This place is a woman's heaven with the abundance of expensive shops.
This is a little strip of live music bars that were 5 minutes around the corner from our hotel. More to come on the nightlife of Tenerife in another review.
This is the famous Veronica's, its a huge complex of bars and clubs and comes in three separate sections
Well now the question is would I go back and the answer is YES I would. There is alot to see on this Island and I would like to visit a few more resorts.
