A laugh at my expense.

We have been out today and this evening with some very dear friends. We went to POOH Corner in the Ashdown Forest 100 acre wood. The girls went to play Pooh sticks, we decided to take a different route with the dog. Please be aware this was a pre dinner walk.
So we walked down the foot path through the forest and to a dead end and an electric fence into a horse field. We knew we were close to the others as we could see the house above the bridge so my pal said lets un hook the fence and head through the field. We did this and the only way was to go through a stream with a 10 ft bank on the otherside.
We did this and started to get up the bank which was fine until Afie Dog turned around and started to go back to the stream, the branch I was pulling up on gave way and I ended up in the Stream. My mate was covered in mud and the dog did not have a splash on him.

Its what us guys do Cru, perfectly normal and not unexpected.

And you told the girls ...... We had to save you from a load of marauding wild animals that were heading in your direction.

Actually told some kids beware of Winnie Pooh, I beat him at pooh sticks so he threw me in the river. Told their parents obviously that is not true, Heffalump shat on me. :Big Smile:

Might go back here tomorrow, if weather ok.

Of course, adventure....birds dont understand......

Too right, I am going paintballing next Sunday with my 2 boys, my mate and 2 foster boys. Kids at play.
