We discovered this restaurant by chance a couple of years ago and it served us the best meal we have had on Tenerife and we have been holidaying regularly twice a year for nearly 10 years.

It's not the easiest place to find but it is well worth the effort, provided you want a truly authentic Canarian eating experience.

Forget the usual tourist style menus - this place is a real Canarian restaurant,.

Basically if it's not true Canarian food, they don't serve it - no paella, no capucinno, no rioja - just good quality home cooked food at reasonable prices.

To find out more have a look at their website - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

You can explore the restaurant here - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If you do decide to try it, I would recommend booking in advance as it isn't the biggest place; or you could pop in at lunchtime and try the Tapas menu.

We were not to sure when we went but mine host is very helpful and will answer any questions you have about the menu. He will also make recommendations as to what is best if you let him know what your taste in food is.

Never heard of it before but have bookmarked the website and will certainly give it a try. Looks just my sort of place. Great website too so can´t be short of a bob or two.
