There was a time when you had to speak proper English like I does to get a job on the tele. I aint talking regional accents here either, just simple English. First one was the woman who is doing the run up to the Olympics, shes on every morning, kept talking about 'atherletes'. Then another one came on to speak about the GB team football, more than once said the word 'Wemberley'. Jeez, there is no ER in either of those words. If I had said that at school a rap over the knuckles with the old wooden ruler would have been dealt out and justifiably too. Things are going down the pan fast, must be the PC brigade again. Of course they can have a job on the BBC, they are young, aren't they? Grrrrrrrr
