Brilliant video, loved the bull getting on what looked like a bus shelter, reminded me of a holiday many years ago in mainland Spain when we went on an excursion to a mock bull fight, the ringmaster for want of a better word demonstrated bullfighting techniques, then members of the audience were allowed to have a go, the bulls used were young and not fully grown plus had their horns clipped.
There were a couple of young lads from Glasgow in the audience who had a bit of a drink in them, well we all had as drinks were included in the excursion price and these lads made sure they got their money’s worth, one of the lads was a bit verbal in wanting to get in the ring and fight the bull (all in good fun), but the ringmaster kept holding him back letting others fight with the bulls first, but the ringmaster knew what he was doing, I can even recall the Glasgow lads name “Billy”, eventually the ringmaster called Billy in to the ring, he asked him if he felt he had learnt enough to fight the bull, Billy set off prancing around the ring like Muhammad Ali warming up shadow boxing, the ringmaster then lets the bull in to the ring, not a baby bull like the others had fought but an almost fully grown bull, all be it it’s horns had been clipped, Billy was a bit taken aback by the size of the thing but the Glaswegians alcohol fuelled bravado shone through as he faced up to the bull, the bull charged at him, Billy remembered his training well, he stood behind his cape and at the last second he stepped to the side, but this was no silly bull, it had played out this scenario before, it did not go for the cape, it targeted Billy, horns or no horns Billy was being tossed around like a rag doll, I almost felt sorry for him... Billy got to his feet a couple of times and made to exit the ring, only to be encouraged back in by the ringmaster and the crowd for more punishment. He eventually exited the ring a very sore Billy, he was on our bus back to the resort, he was black and blue with bits of skin torn off various parts of his body, it was the quietest he had been all day, result Bull 1 – Glaswegian Tosser 0, one of the best excursion I’ve ever been on.

What actually impressed me about the clip was the way the bull used the approx 4” thick wall to launch itself in to the crowd, nifty footwork...
