Talk about others playing the so called God.............it is his life not theirs, let the poor bugger go if he wants, he is of sound mind, pathetic. Know what I would do, I would go of somewhere and do it, he can't but he could find someone not family who would take him.

I think it is wrong that this should happen, when you time comes you know and nobody should stand in the way. But I think the idea is to protect the vulnerable from some of the rotten b.s out there who would kill them off for the belongings.
He should go to Switzerland
Legislation on euthanasia in Switzerland permits assisted suicide. For example, lethal drugs may be prescribed as long as the recipient takes an active role in the drug administration. Active euthanasia (such as administering a lethal injection) is not legal. For assisted suicide, the law does not require a physician to be involved, nor does it require the recipient to be a Swiss national. These aspects of the law are unique in the world (wikipedia)

I am going to put a message on facebook, something like this. If anyone is of sound mind but has a very short time to live, why don't they offer to help this poor chap, what is going to happen to You and what a lovely way to end your sad time by making another happy.
